Co-Chair of Successful SMUHSD Measure M Bond Campaign

• Measure M passed in November 2006 with 66.5% of the vote and raised $298 million to continue the renovation and modernization of the SMUHSD’s facilities

Member, Burlingame High School Self Study Team

• Committee met from February 2005 to March 2006 in preparation for BHS’ accreditation review

• The self study team assessed BHS’ strengths and weaknesses to help prepare an action plan for the next six years

Foster City High School Foundation

• Advocate for establishing a Foster City-based charter school with an emphasis on mathematics and science as well as project-based learning
